MY STORY

From Humble Beginnings to Industry Champion

My journey into the world of window cleaning began in 2007 in the picturesque town of North Lake Tahoe. That year, alongside my wife Meaghan, we launched Jeff Likes Clean Windows & Gutters in Davis, CA. What started as a small business quickly grew into a thriving company, thanks to our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.

Over the years, we didn't just build a company; we built a community. Our leadership team became the backbone of our business, allowing me to eventually run the company as an absentee owner. This empowered team ensured that operations ran smoothly, even when I wasn't directly involved. After years of hard work and growth, I made the decision to retire in late 2022.

WHY DO I TEACH?

Retirement, however, did not mean stepping away from my passion. I have always loved clean windows and remain committed to elevating the window cleaning industry. My personal success is deeply rooted in the knowledge and expertise I gained from others in the field, and I am passionate about giving back by sharing what I have learned.

In 2023, driven by my desire to professionalize window cleaning, I founded Streak-Free Academy. This plug-and-play training program is designed to help business owners train professional window cleaners to deliver quality work efficiently and safely in just one day. I am thrilled to be launching this online program in summer 2023, with plans to introduce hands-on training sessions in early 2024.

MY VALUES

As I transitioned out of the daily operations of my companies, I found new ways to give back. I became an avid volunteer, supporting impoverished youth and serving on the boards of the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA) and my local Kiwanis club. My love for golf has also flourished, and I enjoy playing several times a week with my dog, Mikey. My wife and I also love to travel, spending about 30 weeks a year exploring new places together.

My story is one of growth, passion, and giving back. From starting a small business in North Lake Tahoe to becoming a two-time window cleaning world champion, my journey has been incredible. I look forward to continuing to share my knowledge and help others succeed in the window cleaning industry through Streak-Free Academy.
